Near Piazza Milano in Jesolo, PURO Cucina autentica is the beachfront Mediterranean restaurant and cocktail bar located inside the Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Jesolo, a resort inspired by the colorful suggestions of the tropical deco style that has made the most beautiful seaside resorts in the world famous.

A tribute to the birth of Jesolo Beach, whose vacation destination began in the 1950s, drawing inspiration from the overseas style already popular in Florida and California, the Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Jesolo is one of the icons of Venetian hospitality, where international design meets the relaxed elegance of seaside living.

Conceived as a haven of wellness and beauty, the hotel was designed by Pritzker Prize winner Richard Meier, with interiors by Matteo Thun & Partners. The decor of the restaurant and cocktail bar was entrusted to London-based studio Muza Lab—who have designed notable interiors such as Grosvenor House on Park Lane and The Alpina Gstaad—creating a highly aesthetically evocative space nestled between the azure of the hotel pools and the deep blue of the sea.

At the PURO restaurant, Italian cuisine is rediscovered in its most essential form: genuine ingredients, sincere recipes, authentic flavours.

This summer, the property is enriched with a new restaurant and cocktail bar within the destination: PURO Cucina autentica, a contemporary interpretation of Mediterranean flavors through two distinct yet complementary approaches.

At lunchtime, Ciro Salatiello, the hotel’s Resident Executive Chef, takes charge of the kitchen, offering light, colorful, and flavorful dishes designed to accompany the slow pace of summer days.

Its menu highlights fresh, local products, playing with land and sea, with options, also vegetarian, such as lemon tagliolini with shrimp tartare, penne with courgettes, mint, basil and Provolone del Monaco, the large vegetable plate with feta cubes and basil pesto, and roast beef with 5 peppers, béarnaise sauce and turnip tops and potato puree.

In the evening, the story deepens. The kitchen is led by Michelin-starred chef Theodor Falser, one of the most innovative figures in international fine dining. A South Tyrolean with a cosmopolitan background in Asia, America, and the Middle East, Falser brings to the table an idea of ethical and sustainable food, where the raw ingredients are always central.

His dishes are crafted with sartorial precision, balancing technique, respect for the local area, and global inspirations. Examples include the raw grouper, sweet and sour beets, lemon soup, and wild herb oil; the “Pastificio Mancini” spaghetti alla chitarra with Adriatic clams, parsley, garlic, and mullet roe; or the fillet of meagre in a Puttanesca sauce, basil, olive oil, and summer cabbage.

Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Jesolo is an oasis designed to be enjoyed from dawn to dusk, both summer and winter: an exclusive beach club with umbrellas and loungers included for hotel guests, a cutting-edge spa, and a refined gourmet destination come together in one.

At the heart of the resort, Acquapura Blue Horizon SPA is a sanctuary of peace: heated indoor and outdoor pools, a panoramic sauna with sea views, a bio sauna, Rasul, ice pool, hammam, yoga room, fitness area, and numerous relaxation areas.

In addition to the beach-view terrace, PURO also offers a private room that can accommodate up to 10 people, along with romantic tables for two, perfect after enjoying the spa, which is also open to non-guests on the Day Spa plan.

The Secret

The history of the Falkensteiner Group began with a small guesthouse in South Tyrol, where Maria and Josef Falkensteiner embarked on their hospitality journey in 1957. Even today, their motto is “Welcome Home,” a reminder of the family’s origins and passion, which permeates every aspect of the Falkensteiner vision.
