A tribute to the birth of Jesolo Beach, whose vacation destination began in the 1950s, drawing inspiration from the overseas style already popular in Florida and California, the Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Jesolo is one of the icons of Venetian hospitality, where international design meets the relaxed elegance of seaside living.

Conceived as a haven of wellness and beauty, the hotel was designed by Pritzker Prize winner Richard Meier, with interiors by Matteo Thun & Partners. The decor of the restaurant and cocktail bar was entrusted to London-based studio Muza Lab—who have designed notable interiors such as Grosvenor House on Park Lane and The Alpina Gstaad—creating a highly aesthetically evocative space nestled between the azure of the hotel pools and the deep blue of the sea.

At the PURO restaurant, Italian cuisine is rediscovered in its most essential form: genuine ingredients, sincere recipes, authentic flavours.

The resort’s crown jewel is the PURO Cucina Autentica restaurant, which offers a contemporary interpretation of Mediterranean flavors.

At lunchtime, the menu focuses on fresh, light, and creative dishes inspired by Italian and international cuisine, while evenings become more sophisticated, emphasizing conviviality and dishes designed for sharing. Every Tuesday, PURO La Spaghettata takes place, a weekly event celebrating spaghetti with lobster, prepared in a pan and placed at the center of the table.

Its menu highlights fresh, local produce, playing with seafood and land, with options, including vegetarian options, such as “Pastificio Mancini” spaghetti alla chitarra with Adriatic clams, parsley, garlic, and mullet bottarga; PURO fish soup with chickpeas, scampi, calamari, octopus, razor clams, mussels, white fish, cherry tomatoes, and tomato crouton; or fillet of sea bass in a Puttanesca sauce, with basil, olive oil, and summer cabbage.

A refined wine list with local and international selections rounds out the offerings. For aperitifs or after-dinner drinks, you can book a table at PURO cocktail bar to enjoy a drink overlooking the sea and truly unwind.

In addition to the beach-view terrace, PURO also offers a private room that can accommodate up to 10 people, along with romantic tables for two—perfect after enjoying the spa, which is also open to non-guests with a Day Spa package.

The Secret

The history of the Falkensteiner Group began with a small guesthouse in South Tyrol, where Maria and Josef Falkensteiner embarked on their hospitality journey in 1957.
