In Peschiera del Garda, within the Frassino Natural Oasis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a nature hotel that, with its panoramic pools overlooking Lake Frassino and charming "chalet" rooms, seems straight out of a fairytale.

So much beauty: 70,000 square meters of pristine parkland, where birds from around the world find refuge during migration, a glacial lake, and five buildings with Art Nouveau influences from the turn of the century.

The Le Ali del Frassino resort, inaugurated in 2014 after a lengthy restoration by the Ristoclassique group, a leader in charming hospitality on Lake Garda and the Mincio River Park, combines nature, luxury, and Italian authenticity.

An invitation to experience nature and rediscover history. Walking the paths of the Frassino Oasis, listening to the silence broken only by birdsong, you can imagine the lives of our ancestors, who built, farmed, and dreamed right here.

The hotel is housed in five historic buildings, some dating back to the 14th century and some from the early 20th century, which blend into the surrounding nature. It enjoys an exclusive location overlooking Lake Frassino, just a few kilometers from the center of Peschiera del Garda and all of Lake Garda’s attractions.

Le Ali del Frassino offers 97 rooms and suites, offering a variety of options, including those with fine antique furnishings in the Villa, Fienile, Cascina, and Limonaie buildings, and the Belvedere Suites, chalet rooms entirely clad in natural larch wood, with private whirlpool tubs and saunas. Naturally, all rooms offer a wonderful view of the lake, some with a large terrace and private outdoor area overlooking the Oasis.

The resort also includes a spa dedicated to the finest wellness and a gym, two swimming pools, an infinity pool, and a water park overlooking gardens with centuries-old trees, and two restaurants celebrating Italian culinary excellence.

Ardea Purpurea, also open to external guests, is the main restaurant at the Le Ali del Frassino Resort, located in a charming early 20th-century villa named after the elegant purple heron that inhabits the Frassino Lake oasis and is the focus of the artfully crafted wall decorations.

The large dining room, entirely suspended over the waters of the lake, offers refined menus featuring local products, as well as delicious gourmet pizzas made with stone-ground flour.

Il Tuffetto, the Resort’s second and more informal restaurant, also inspired by a charming inhabitant of the Laghetto del Frassino, as its summer name suggests, is open during the summer and overlooks the hotel pools.

Le Ali del Frassino has always embraced a philosophy of sustainability and environmental protection to ensure the safety of the Oasis. The Resort has undertaken numerous initiatives, including the creation of an organic vineyard, the planting of 400 new native trees, and the installation of sedum green roofs with bee-friendly flowers.

These concrete actions have earned it prestigious certifications like the Biodiversity Friends from the World Biodiversity Association and the ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance).

The Secret

Lake Frassino, formed during the glacial periods, is not only an ecosystem rich in biodiversity, but also a place of great historical interest thanks to the presence of a Bronze Age pile-dwelling settlement, now recognized as part of the UNESCO site “Prehistoric Pile Dwellings around the Alps.”
