In Treviso, a bistro born from the creative genius of architect Silvio Stefani, deus ex machina of some of the most romantic places in Italy, inspired by Mediterranean food and wine shops, from Morocco to Sicily.
A unique, unmistakable style characterizes Spatio Bistrot, which opened in 2020 within a developing residential complex designed by Silvio Stefani in the center of Treviso, a few steps from Piazza di Santa Maria Maggiore.
Famous for having created, with Rosa Rosae, an original fairy-tale style that embraces the nature and historicity of the places that he “touches” with his magic wand, he called it spazio (space), in Latin, as a metaphor for a place to be “filled” with various things, people, events, food, life.
With Spatio Bistrot I wanted to give life to an imaginary living room, an intimate environment where you can take refuge to drink a good glass, eat something and listen to good music. Just like home.

From the large windows overlooking the street, almost opposite the Sanctuary of Santa Maria Maggiore, the warm tones of the natural wood that cover the room are striking and, in particular, a cascade of coppery leaves that embrace the ceiling.
Silvio had seen them during a trip to Bali, handmade by a local craftsman, and had fallen in love with them so much that they arrived in Treviso by sea. There are many ethnic inspirations in Spatio, from Moroccan shops, which can be read in the beautiful zellige-style black tiles of the open kitchen or in the vintage 30s trays with which the tables were created, up to the island with the products used on the menu, also hung on the wooden shelves, which recall the gastronomy of Southern Italy.
Head of the bistro and soul of the place, Fulvia Pin welcomes guests as if at home and surprises them with her beautiful voice. She is a professional singer, she loves to entertain the “surprise” audience with songs with a jazz atmosphere, adding a note of unique warmth to the venue’s format.
Perfect for an aperitif or an easy dinner, in the small open kitchen, Jasin prepares dishes that change according to the fresh ingredients, all freshly brewed, such as the appetizer of Moroccan sauces, tagliatelle with rabbit ragout and black cabbage, or boiled capon with wasabi mayo and Fulvia’s tiramisu.
Clara Galanti, image consultant and photographer, takes care of the beautiful installations, which change with the seasons, and leaves no detail to chance.
The choice of products is excellent, as Fulvia and Clara love to research for artisanal Italian specialties, such as, just to mention a few examples, the biodynamic wines of the Friulian Aquila Del Torre winery, the Dogaressa oil from the Euganean Hills, the Tuscan sheep Cugusi, and many other delicatessens that change from month to month to offer customers always new flavors.
Showcooking, a professional audio system with powerful subwoofers, lots of creativity and an intimate atmosphere make Spatio Bistrot the perfect place for parties and private dinners. The Secret
When the residential complex that houses Spatio will be completed, the bistro will gain a secret courtyard that will be decorated with tables and a floral garden.
