In Mirano, Canonici di San Marco is a paradise of rare beauty that combines the rural charm of the aristocratic Venetian estates with the exoticism of the colonial-style, luxury tents.
The first glamping to be established in Italy, it includes 4 luxury lodges nestled into nature and 2 luxury suites located inside a charming 16th-century villa, where the delightful homemade breakfast is served every day with a fab boho-chic mise en place. All lodges are air-conditioned in summer and heated in winter.
Completely conceived by lovely Emanuela and Monica, the owners, the resort is decorated with hippie-chic colorful accents and decorations, mixing artisanal Balinese furniture, local Venetian antiques and french brocantes. The site is really close to all the cultural attractions of the Venice area, a perfect starting point to discover this unique territory full of art and history.
For a special evening, you can book the homemade Chic Pic-Nic and enjoy a private, candle-light dinner in your lodge patio. Alternatively, dinner can be served in the cozy ancient wine cellar of the villa.
The first tent was created in 2009, almost by chance, by Emanuela and her husband Federico in the garden of their home (in via Canonici, hence the name Glamping Canonici) in order to give a “home” to the many objects collected during their travels and create a structure to host their friends from all over the world. It is from the incredible success achieved by this first tent that the Canonici glamping dream became soon reality.
