The Al Segnavento country relais in Zelarino inaugurates the new B Club Venice which, for after-dinner, hosts live evenings of swing jazz music with the allure of 1940s nightclubs, among lampshades on the tables and the iconic stage with a grand piano.
A retro atmosphere reminiscent of New Orleans jazz clubs with soft lighting and the magic of a live band that interacts with the audience. It is with these premises that Al Segnavento, the eco-resort of the Bucci family, unique in its kind in Veneto immersed in the greenery of a bucolic farm inspired by the English countryside, has created B Club Venice.
Housed in a room of the resort’s namesake restaurant, the venue opens on Friday evenings every two weeks with different live events, each dedicated to a specific theme. All other days it is available for parties or private dinners with the help of the party design team of Al Segnavento, already well known for its beautiful country chic events and the vintage outdoor cinema.
One thing I like about jazz, kid, is that I don’t know what’s going to happen next. Do you?

On stage, the quintet B Band revisits the culture of swing jazz and Bossa Nova through performances in which the songs are accompanied by a narration that transports us to evocative past eras and film-like atmospheres.
The wonderful voice protagonist of the evening is the singer Diana Atito accompanied (in alphabetical order) on the piano by Giuseppe Dato, on the guitar by Davide Nicchio, on the trombone by Paolo Mancini, and on the double bass by Alberto Paggin. The quintet will make you spend an hour and a half in the company of the most beautiful music of the post-war North and South American music scene, with songs ranging from Moon River by Henry Mancini to the Bossa Nova by Vinicius de Moraes and Tom Jobin.
The next evenings already scheduled are scheduled for November 22 with “From Swing to Latin”, December 6 with “The New Wind of Bossa Nova”, and December 20 with “Somethin’Borrowed: Contaminations”. You can choose, with a reservation, to attend only the live music show (from 9 pm with a drink) or to have dinner first (from 7 pm) at Al Segnavento, the resort’s fine dining restaurant, or, located a few meters away, at the Ai Brillanti osteria for a more informal proposal.
Both at Al Segnavento and Ai Brillanti, the menu is based on organic products from the Bucci family farm, from excellent meats, such as artisanal culatello and lamb, to vegetables, up to delicious homemade pasta.
All this in the context of an ancient farmhouse dating back to the 17th century, once owned by the noble Fürstenberg family, and its various rural annexes. A marvel between Venice, Padua and Treviso where, if you wish, you can also book for the night. In front of Al Segnavento is, in fact, the Fiori & Frutti relais with 15 rooms inspired by the Bucci family’s passion for the English countryside.
The Secret
Diana Atito got married at Al Segnavento in 2020. It was her that the Bucci family, struck by her voice, thought of some time later to realize the project of the B Club Venice at Al Segnavento. For the occasion, Diana involved some of her conservatory classmates, giving life to the B Band. The “B” of the venue and the quintet, in fact, stands for the initial of the surname Bucci.
