Part of The Small Luxury Hotels of the World, Vista Palazzo is located right in the heart of the historic center of Verona, in Corticella Leoni, next to the ancient Porta Leona from the Roman era, and just a few minutes from the famous Juliet’s house.

Opened in spring 2022, Vista Palazzo is the latest addition to the chain of hotels founded by the Passera family. A long love story with the art of hospitality that begins in the early 1900s on Lake Como with a restaurant on one of the boats that once plied its waters.

Today, Bianca and Luigi Passera, third and fourth generation respectively, manage the group’s five hotels, carrying on a tradition of elegant, generous and authentic hospitality based on respect for customers, suppliers, the territory, the community and the environment.

The hotel and its 16 suites are characterized by a unique style that combines iconic pieces of Italian design with contemporary furnishings by master craftsmen: from custom-made Italian marble sinks, to Dedar fabrics with colors and jacquard processing in the best Venetian style, up to the pure linen sheets and the fine cotton bathroom linen of the historic Rivolta Carmignani brand.

Everything is taken care of with extreme attention to detail, also ensured by the extraordinary team of housekeepers, who guarantee the perfect cleaning and ironing of all the textiles, the concierge service that satisfies every guest’s desire, and the convenient valet parking, just to name some of the services most loved by customers.

The panoramic terrace, like the restaurant, is also open to non-guests of the structure, which offers a wonderful 360° view of the ancient city, perfect for romantic dinners or aperitifs.

For a light lunch or a fine dining dinner, the Sottovoce restaurant offers the cuisine of chef Fabio Aceti who pays homage to his starred masters and the Verona area in recipes that combine technique and flavor. Like, to name a few, the gnocchi stuffed with potato, Garda lemon, Monte Veronese 40 months and Amarone soul, the frisella bread with tomato water, Barolo vinegar gel and garden colors, or the lamb with millefeuille of potato and dandelion.
The offer is completed by a careful selection of the best Italian wines and from around the world.

And the mise en place? It boasts the beautiful porcelain designed by Gio Ponti for Richard Ginori that stand out on a table inspired by the best of Made in Italy design.

The Hotel also offers its guests the only indoor swimming pool in the historic center of the city, gym, Turkish bath, hydromassage, emotional showers, ice fountain and sauna. In addition, Vista Palazzo has created the beautiful Spa Suite: 50 square meters at your complete disposal, alone or as a couple, for an hour or for the whole day, with a choice of purifying bio sauna, massage bed and Jacuzzi.

In the spa area, the original well creates a very suggestive atmosphere: discovered during the excavations, a local legend tells that it was there that Romeo sought death, thwarted in his dream of love with Juliet.
