Savoy Beach Hotel & Thermal Spa
In Bibione, a "Naturhotel" that blends in between the sea and the wonderful lagoon
Nestled between the sea, the thermal baths and Val Grande natural oasis, the Savoy, the only 5-star hotel in Bibione, enchants all year round with its grand hotel charm and its cutting-edge services linked to 360° wellness lifestyle.
The history of the Savoy Beach Hotel & Thermal Spa began in 1998, when it was inaugurated by the Basso family and, since then, it has never stopped being a point of reference for the seaside city, renewing itself, year after year, without losing the charm of an old-time fine hospitality.
Today the hotel is the flagship of Europa Tourist Group, a group founded in 1972 by the brothers Franco and Vanni Basso with great vision, which offers its guests cutting-edge services and facilities.
We want each guest to enjoy the best experiences that Bibione has to offer, especially those related to the thermal baths, the sea and nature, as we have always believed in the values of sustainable hospitality from all points of view.
(Basso family)
For example, we find the underground sensorial gallery that connects the Savoy with Bibione Thermae and the Sky Beach Terrace, a private beach where you can relax all year round thanks to the heated sand and panoramic windows that open and close depending on the outside temperature.
Bibione Thermae, one of the most important spas in Italy whose waters originate at a depth of about 500 meters underground, offers thermal treatments, a medical and rehabilitation center, a Spa beauty farm, as well as, thanks to the synergy with the Savoy, innovative programs, such as the Longevity Spa and the cognitive training project.
The hotel offers 148 rooms and 8 new suites, almost all with sea views, the latter with a private hot tub or spa, each with a different theme and all with a private gazebo on the beach.
The Savoy Beach Hotel & Thermal Spa is a true art gallery, especially hosting local artists, which exhibits Venetian-made artefacts, oil paintings on canvas, mosaics and blown glass works and temporary exhibitions such as the beautiful one by photographer Francesco Finotto, entitled “The party cities. Jesolo, Caorle, Bibione: the seafront of the Northeast”.
The gastronomic offer is also fantastic, coordinated by chef Alessandro Castelnuovo, originally from Lake Como who, after having traveled the world and worked in great kitchens, aims to enhance the authentic flavors and tastes of the old times, using haute cuisine techniques.
The hotel offers two restaurants: Elisabetta di Lorena and the fine dining Duca d’Aosta, also open to non-guests of the structure, where the chef and the maître Giovanni Labriola propose dishes that start from the quality ingredients grown in the comany’s local vegetable garden combined with products carefully researched and selected among the Italian gastronomic excellences.
On the menu, we find dishes such as, among the appetizers, the Imperial Prawns in Ceviche and Wagyu caramelized with fermented lotus root, and, among the main courses, the Chitarrina pasta with pistachio pesto and clams or the Pescatrice larded with Osvaldo prosciutto, Venetian pea foam and crunchy castrated fish, as well as a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes.
The Hotel also offers Cantina di Franco, in the basement where events and tastings are also held, which houses over 700 wine labels and the 51, The Regis Bistro & American Bar, located in front of the Duca d’Aosta, for a perfect aperitif or after-dinner drink to be enjoyed at the counter, in the outdoor area or on the Sky Beach Terrace.
The hotel’s services also include a conference center (which can accommodate up to 300 guests), a gym, a swimming pool park with solarium, bar and kiosk, a private beach and a private underground car park.
The Savoy Beach Hotel & Thermal Spa is immersed in a well-kept garden that allows the structure to blend perfectly with the surrounding landscape, offering guests the feeling of fully reconnecting with nature.
Just 6 minutes by bike (Bibione is a paradise for cycling routes and the hotel offers free city bikes), you can visit the Val Grande Oasis where there are various nature trails along which you can admire lakes and woods, pink flamingos and herons, and also see the remains of an ancient Roman villa (the ticket for the Oasis is free for hotel guests).
The Secret
The name “Bibione” derives from “insulae Bibioni” which indicated islands attached to the lagoon by a strip of land, a conformation that still today distinguishes the location, making it truly unique.
