Ponte Pietra is a charming restaurant with the sophisticated atmosphere of the 19th-century aristocrat private clubs and a romantic view of Ponte Pietra, the oldest Roman monument in Verona, and one of the most beautiful panoramas of the City of Love.
The gourmet cuisine revisits the signature dishes of the Veronese tradition with a refined creative touch and a captivating presentation. The menu, which changes every three months according to a seasonal offer, mixes tradition with international contaminations giving the opportunity to choose from classic Italian dishes such as a perfectly cooked risotto with Amarone red wine, or more creative proposals such as the tuna steak with soy mayonnaise and sprouts.
Book a table by the river for a romantic view on Ponte Pietra and the Teatro Romano, or in the medieval cellar for an intimate experience taking advantage of a wine list that includes over 1,000 labels to choose from.
The premises, owned by the great étoile Carla Fracci, housed an antiques shop for years before being taken over by the current owners. On the top floor of the 15th-century building, there is also a beautiful charming B&B apartment with a panoramic view, which can be booked through the restaurant, a real treat for experiencing the most authentic Verona in a unique setting.
