The perfect setting for an unforgettable evening is right here, within the walls of the ancient Palazzo Prosdocimi, a Fine Arts Heritage site in the heart of Padua. You’ll immediately be amazed by the extraordinary refinement of its details: a table setting worthy of The Leopard, with silver cutlery, crystal glasses, floral decorations, and countless candles, along with elegant lampshades, creating an intimate and refined atmosphere.

In the 1980s, Alfredo Beltrame chose this palace to open his “Al Toulà,” one of the most famous restaurants in the Veneto region. A tradition of hospitality and good taste that continues today, for almost twenty years, thanks to the Martinato family.

The meticulous and passionate attention to every detail is masterfully orchestrated by Stefania Martinato, owner and soul of the restaurant. A perfect hostess, she takes care of her guests, fulfilling their every desire.

Just to die for the special spaghetti “cacio e pepe” with pecorino cheese, black pepper, and scampi, or the raw seafood selection, an explosion of flavors, aromas, and colors. All pastas, baked products as well as desserts are homemade, while the fresh fish arrives daily from the markets of Chioggia and Caorle.

Excellent the wine list that includes local as well as prestigious labels, just perfect for special occasions. As a soundtrack, acoustic jazz and bossa nova notes are carefully chosen to accompany guests in an emotional crescendo.
Before dinner, a must-try cocktail is the Saint Germain Belle Parti, prepared with St-Germain liqueur, blanquette de limoux, fruit, and edible flowers, whilst as a digestif you cannot miss the homemade grappas, so refined to please even the most delicate palates.

The Secret

Among the off-menu offerings, you can often taste the prized Gillardeau oysters, a renowned name in French oyster farming. Look closely at the shell of each oyster and you’ll find a laser-etched “G,” symbolizing the product’s uniqueness.
