The restaurant hides a centenary history, always leading the scene of the Veneto social life: if in the 80s Alfredo Beltrame chose this building to open his “Al Toulà“, which became one of the most renowned restaurants in Italy, nowadays the fine hospitality tradition is proudly carried on by the Martinato family, a landmark for nearly 20 years in the Region’s fine dining sector. Everything is magically orchestrated by Stefania Martinato, owner and soul of the restaurant, who takes care of her guests fulfilling all their wishes. This is possibly why so many international celebrities love coming to Padova and have dinner here, indulging themselves in the restaurant’s refine fish cuisine.
Chef Daniele Doria, in fact, uses just top-quality raw materials in order to create dishes perfect both from an aesthetic and culinary point of view. Just to die for the special spaghetti “cacio e pepe” with pecorino cheese, black pepper, and scampi, or the raw seafood selection, an explosion of flavors, aromas, and colors. All pastas, baked products as well as desserts are homemade, while the fresh fish arrives daily from the markets of Chioggia and Caorle.
Excellent the wine list that includes local as well as prestigious labels, just perfect for special occasions. As a soundtrack, acoustic jazz and bossa nova notes are carefully chosen to accompany guests in an emotional crescendo.
Before dinner, a must-try cocktail is the Saint Germain Belle Parti, prepared with St-Germain liqueur, blanquette de limoux, fruit, and edible flowers, whilst as a digestif you cannot miss the homemade grappas, so refined to please even the most delicate palates.

On Thursdays and Fridays, you can order off-menu the Gillardeau oysters, a very well-known brand of French oyster. Look carefully on the shell of each oyster, and you will find a laser-imprinted “G“, a symbol of the uniqueness of the product.
