Part of the Aman group, the 7-star Resort is located in one of the most beautiful palaces of the Grand Canal, Palazzo Papadopoli, full of museum-quality treasures including Tiepolo frescoes, gilded ceilings, and 17th-century rare leather wallpapers.
Owned by the noble Savoia-Arrivabene family (which today still lives on the top floor), Aman Venice cannot possibly be defined a hotel, but rather a private home of only 24 rooms. Guests, in fact, are encouraged to enjoy every corner of the luxurious building in total relaxation, from the stunning frescoed lounges to the roof terrace, totally free to choose where (and when) to have breakfast, lunch, dinner, or an unforgettable Sunday brunch in the garden open from May to October.
Book the over 100sqm Tiepolo’s suite – just one of the most fab rooms in the world – and indulge yourself in a Golden Martini at the Lord Byron Bar followed by a gourmet dinner at the restaurant located on the stunning first floor Ball Room and boasting a fine menu designed by the super chef Norbert Niederkofler.
The owners of the Palazzo, Countess Bianca di Savoia Aosta and Count Giberto Arrivabene Valenti Gonzaga are great art lovers. She is an advisor to the famous Christie’s auction house, whilst he is a designer of refined objects in Murano glass, wood, vermeille, agate, rock crystal, inspired by the most precious artistic artifacts of his family. In addition to being part of the decoration and the mise en place of the Resort, these fab objects can be purchased in the Aman Venice store from which it is worth entering from the wonderful staircase.
