Owned by the noble Savoia-Arrivabene family (which today still lives on the top floor), Aman Venice cannot possibly be defined a hotel, but rather a private home of only 24 rooms. The owners of the Palazzo, Countess Bianca di Savoia Aosta and Count Giberto Arrivabene Valenti Gonzaga are great art lovers. She is an advisor to the famous Christie’s auction house, whilst he is a designer of refined objects in Murano glass, wood, vermeille, agate, rock crystal, inspired by the most precious artistic artifacts of his family. In addition to being part of the decoration and the mise en place of the Resort, these fab objects can be purchased in the Aman Venice store from which it is worth entering from the wonderful staircase.
Palace Kitchen Table
Aman has just inaugurated a brand new project named Palazzo Kitchen Table, in an intimate space with a direct access to the magnificent garden. The aim was to design a “secret” room where organizing truly unique gourmet events such as, for example, the Market Stroll or the gourmet events Cook the Lagoon.
During the Market Stroll experience, customers will be accompanied to the famous Rialto Market by chef Dario Ossola, an exceptional guide to choose the best products to cook together, for lunch or for dinner. After the market tour, guests will be taken back to the Kitchen Table where they assist the dishes’ preparation discovering gourmet combinations and precious cooking secrets. The experiences are dedicated to a limited number of guests (8/10).
