In the center of Bassano, TIPIC ficusbar is a contemporary concept bar boasting a wonderful retro-industrial design, a pleasantly relaxed mood, and a sleek international atmosphere.

The owners, Rita and Graziano, after a lifetime spent in the world of furniture and corporate communication, have given life to “their” local chasing the dream of creating a cozy place to live all day long, laid-back, but with a sophisticated style. Thanks to their great passion for interior decoration, TIPIC, in fact, continuously transforms the decor, the food&drinks menus as well as the events organized, adapting them to seasons, festivities as well as the mood of the day, thus offering always new entertainment to their guests. From original objects that come from Rita and Graziano’s travels around the world, especially from the coolest concept stores such as Merci Paris or Corso Como 10 in Milan, to installations in collaboration with local artists, TIPIC is a creative lab constantly work-in-progress.

Open all day, it is ideal for an informal lunch, breakfast or drinks. Just like for the design, the eno-gastronomic offer is planned to the very last detail. Just think that there are more than 30 wines by the glass to choose and to pair with delicious “cicchetti” (traditional finger-food appetizers) based on organic bread flavored with cuttlefish ink, walnuts, sesame seeds, and pumpkin. From Franciacorta Ancestral Method, to local wines such as the Bordeaux-style Phigaia and Due Santi, up to the best Riesling and Traminer from the Moselle region, every palate will be easily satisfied.

The cocktails follow the same philosophy; in addition to the great classics, TIPIC proposes some “secret” recipes based, for instance, on gin and basil, and pink pepper and vodka, using an original Organic Vodka Tuscany produced in Tuscany that in Veneto can only be found here.

The Sunday brunch, where everything is freshly prepared, has become an unmissable event for the cool international crowd that hangs out in Bassano and that here comes to eat the legendary homemade pancakes and the bagels made with natural leavening dough (he must-try is the Falso-Falso with avocado and salmon).

Bassano is definitely one of the most beautiful and happening towns in the Veneto region, so, after stopping by TIPIC, it’s great fun to get lost in the streets of the center and cross the wonderful Ponte degli Alpini, symbol of Bassano, continuing the walk, taking via Volpato, along the river Brenta to give yourself a unique view of the skyline and evocative glimpses of the surrounding nature.

The Secret

A fig tree was chosen for the TIPIC logo as this plant, always present in the bistro, is also the lucky charm of the two owners.
