The Secret Bistrot is a magical Neverland, just the perfect “secret place” to escape on the weekend for a lazy breakfast, brunch, or dinner. Characterized by a fairy tale atmosphere with cool vintage furniture, ethnic accents, and soft music, it is hosted at Al Tezzon, a 5-star hotel located in the small town of Camposampiero.

Here, every weekend, the Zuanon sisters – Valentina, designer, art director & founder of the event design company Selvàtica and Katia, fashion & travel designer – create, with great passion, their mystical world of wonders, conceived of as a place of shelter and rest for curious souls.

At the Secret Bistrot each object reveals a story and is meant to be experienced, tasted, or even brought home with us! At Bottega Creativa, the creative shop of the Secret Bistrot, you can find cool retro-inspired dresses, home accessories, tableware & table accessories, such as the lovely food trays and wooden hearts by Selvàtica, and all of the hand-made objects that decorate the Bistrot’s rooms.

The highlight is definitely the Prayers Collection, a brand that Katia, expert traveler and spiritual seeker, has created in order “to provide protection to our loved ones”: the blankets, made of natural materials and adorned with prayers and fairytales quotes, and the maxi-bags, that hide inside a secret lucky charm, are just to die for.

Upon reservation, indulge yourself in yummy vegetarian dishes (also gluten-free and vegan menus are available), fruit smoothies, and biodynamic wines. Do not miss the pancakes and the chocolate cake just freshly cooked and baked on Sunday morning. The Bistrot is a real must on the last Sunday of each month after visiting the nearby vintage & antiques market of Piazzola sul Brenta.

The Secret

Objects with a story bring with them a special energy: it is with this belief that Valentina set up the porch and the internal room with tables, desks, and kneelers that all come from the refectory and rooms of an ancient Venetian convent; it will also be for this reason that the Secret inspires a great sense of peace and the pleasant sensation of feeling at home, “protected” from the outside world.
