In Dorsoduro, a 16th-century building houses a small gourmand restaurant, a gastronomic refuge of great beauty designed to represent a cultural bridge of excellence between Venice and the world.
MyVenice is a Renaissance palace hidden in the heart of Dorsoduro, a stone’s throw from the Grand Canal, which houses a gourmet restaurant and 10 rooms, overlooking a traditional canal where the water flows slowly, almost marking the rhythm of those who want to feel at home here.
The project, inaugurated in 2024, was strongly desired by Giuliano Canella, an entrepreneur in the large-scale retail sector, who, together with his daughter Eleonora, created Palazzetto MyVenice to experience the most authentic Venice, made of local flavors and sincere hospitality, and to enhance the excellence of the Veneto.
There is a different Venice, quieter, more real. You just have to know how to look for it and make it your own.

A philosophy that is immediately evident, as soon as you cross the reception, entering the 2 rooms that house the restaurant, where excellence is whispered in every detail: the original Venetian floors, the high ceilings that tell stories of the past, Murano glass glasses, plates by Geminiano Cozzi Venezia 1765.
At the helm of the structure we find Andrea Coppetta Calzavara, with a long experience in hotels and restaurants with many stars, and at the head of the kitchen a young and talented brigade who uses essential and very fresh raw materials, often selected directly and personally at the local market or from trusted butchers.
The goal is to give new life to the typical ingredients of Venetian and Italian cuisine, enhancing the raw materials naturally through low-temperature cooking methods and the use of the yakitori grill that infuses the dishes with smoky notes.
On the menu we find refined and delicious dishes, such as the signature dish “bottoni”, fresh pasta ravioli revisited with court ragù, wild herbs from the Euganean Hills and Berici Hills, and lagoon algae or the Catalana of grilled shellfish with crushed Rotzo potatoes and vegetables.
Before sitting down to eat, you can have an aperitif in the charming internal courtyard, an intimate open-air corner overlooking the water of a quiet canal, crossed only by the discreet charm of the gondoliers.
For those who prefer to stay indoors, on the first floor of Palazzetto My Venice is the Cavialeria (caviar bar): a cozy lounge where caviar and champagne, but not only, meet in an almost theatrical ritual.
Every space in the hotel and restaurant is characterized by discreet but attentive service, capable of making each guest feel at the center of a tailor-made experience.
