Located in the Breda di Piave countryside, Locanda Rosa Rosae is one of the most romantic and charming places in Veneto. The 16th-century watermill has been restored by architect Silvio Stefani giving life to an enchanted world. The extraordinary atmosphere is a perfect mix of rustic details and contemporary design, like the Eames chairs or the giant Octopus chandelier designed by Stefani himself. Fresh flowers and candles everywhere enhance this sense of rare beauty.

The menu changes depending on the availability of seasonal products. Being a family-run business, the restaurant offers a special all included formula which counts starters and desserts served buffet-style (they are really good, make sure you leave some room for the yummy home-made cakes), whilst the first and second courses are served at the table. A great selection of after-dinner drinks is also available.

Open only on weekends, in winter book a table in one of the cosy rooms (better not seating in the main room where starters and desserts are served as it can lack of intimacy), in summer you can enjoy the beautiful garden and under the romantic wisteria by the river.

The Secret

Everything at Rosa Rosae is managed by the family, with great conviviality. So it may happen that the menu is changed last second according to the seasonal products just bought at the local markets or that Silvio himself, who is actually a famous architect who follows some of the trendiest fashion brands in the region, serves at the table, entertaining guests with anecdotes and jokes.
