The 5-star hotel in Jesolo, the flagship of the homonymous South Tyrolean hospitality group, has just been renovated with new panoramic suites, a luxury spa overlooking the sea, and a Tropical Déco-style restaurant & lounge bar on the beach.
Inaugurated in spring 2022, the new wing of the Falkensteiner Hotel completes the first building, boasting elegant minimal lines of nautical reference, designed by the famous architect Richard Meier who got inspired by Art Decò, a style in vogue in the United States over the 1930s and the 1940s.
The interior of the common areas has been renovated using this concept; yet developed according to the Tropical and Hawaiian style that in the same period began to characterize the most famous overseas beaches, from Florida to California.
The three key words Barefoot Seaside Dreamaway are the inspiration for the whole new lifestyle philosophy of the hotel, to experience the magic of Jesolo Beach throughout the year.
The splendid structure on the Jesolo seafront, near Piazza Milano, with the 26 new suites, the expansion of the SPA with a panoramic sea view sauna and outdoor lounge, yoga, hammam and rasul rooms, and a completely renovated design restaurant & lounge bar, today looks like a true unicum on the Venetian coast for both aesthetics and services.
The true gem of the Hotel is the Acquapura Blue Horizon SPA which includes 4 swimming pools, indoor and outdoor, heated up to 30 degrees even in summer if necessary, which “betray” the South Tyrolean origin of the founders of the Group, fine experts in wellness facilities.
Among the various treatments, particularly original those inspired by the Hawaiian tradition such as the Aloha Spirit Happy Vibes, a massage dedicated to the whole body, and Makia Time for Me which, based on marine active ingredients, gives a refreshing and firming effect; both specific for after sun exposure.
The beautiful sea view suites include the stunning Seaside Penthouse, a 110 m2 apartment with two bedrooms, a lounge and a private 80 m2 panoramic terrace. For those staying at the hotel, the beach service is also included (offering 2 sunbeds and an umbrella), with the first three rows reserved for the suites.
Also open to non-guests of the hotel, the new Falkensteiner eatery, Hoku Restaurant & Lounge Bar, offers creative international cuisine ranging from Italian classics to the most popular Japanese and Hawaiian dishes, just perfect to be enjoyed under the sun.
Through the hotel’s social networks, or by contacting the dedicated staff directly, you can stay informed about the many activities organized by Falkensteiner such as yoga and meditation courses, events and parties.
The Secret
Falkensteiner Michaeler Tourism Group AG, today one of the leading companies in tourism in the private sector, was founded in 1957 when Maria and Josef Falkensteiner inaugurated a guesthouse in Val Pusteria in South Tyrol. In 65 years, by June 2022, the small family-run hotel has turned into a group, with about 2,500 collaborators for 30 structures, that has been able to maintain the same attention to detail that Maria and Josef have shown in the management of their first hospitality business.
